Q & A My doctor thinks my low test is fine

My Doctor Thinks my Low Testosterone is fine

I have low T (300ng/dl) and my doctor thinks it's fine. I feel depressed, anxious, no energy, and even getting out of bed is a chore. What should I do first to help myself?

Imagine recently discovering that your testosterone levels are alarmingly low, yet your doctor insists that everything is fine. Meanwhile, you're grappling with feelings of depression, anxiety, and a profound lack of energy that renders even the simplest tasks daunting.

These symptoms are all too familiar, echoed not only by men seeking advice from me but also by hundreds across YouTube and forums like Reddit.

In fact, a relatively well-known YouTuber, "bignoknow," faced these challenges, leading him to resort to finding a doctor who would prescribe testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) for relief.

However, TRT, whether through creams or injections, disrupts your body's natural testosterone production and can lead to potential side effects like increased estrogen levels.

A healthy male produces only about 5mg of testosterone per day, yet TRT prescriptions often exceed this amount, leading to excessive aromatization. Consequently, the body converts much of the surplus testosterone into estrogen.

Moreover, many pharmaceutical solutions employ low-quality oils like cottonseed, which can cause inflammation and contain traces of toxins like gossypol.

Recent reviews indicate that TRT is associated with adverse events such as heart attacks and strokes, contrasting with the protective nature of natural testosterone optimization.

Here's the controversial truth: you don't need synthetic testosterone to reclaim your masculine vigor. Many men believe it's the only option due to limited knowledge and the prevalence of low-quality information in the mainstream.

At Unyielding Vigor, our mission is to provide men with the absolute best solutions unavailable elsewhere on the internet. Our goal is to empower you to be among the top 1% of men.

Recent research underscores that men can maintain high testosterone levels naturally well into old age, challenging the narrative pushed by pharmaceutical giants profiting from medical-grade testosterone treatments.

So, if you seek to naturally increase your testosterone levels, it's entirely achievable. While treatments like Clomid or Enclomiphene from big pharma come with devastating side effects, our methods at Unyielding Vigor prioritize your health and vitality.

Maintaining your God-given testosterone levels, fertility, and sexual abilities as you age is paramount to us at Unyielding Vigor. We're here to support you in achieving a healthy libido, confidence, and energy, experiencing the full measure of masculine satisfaction.

Therefore, I'm excited to share this blog post with you about Johnathon, who was refused treatment for his low testosterone levels by his doctor. Despite his desperation to correct his anxiety, depression, fatigue, and testosterone levels, his doctor's refusal may have been a blessing in disguise. By avoiding big pharma's solutions, Johnathon now benefits from natural methods offered by Unyielding Vigor to evolve daily and conquer his limits.

I hope this post will assist others like John in addressing their low testosterone levels naturally, safely, and in a way that is sustainable long term into old age.

Optimizing Testosterone

Hey there, my friend! I totally get where you're coming from, and it's tough when you're not feeling your best. Unfortunately, healthcare systems are falling apart across many western countries and sometimes you need to be your own health advocate.

So, you are in a spiral where low testosterone can indeed be contributing to your depression, anxiety, and lack of energy, but conversely, those are all things that can contribute to low testosterone. I feel like our approach should be holistic towards fixing all of these problems. But I don’t want you to get overwhelmed with an all-or-nothing approach because it sounds like you are at rock bottom, and there are a lot of small, easy changes you can make to start moving in the right direction.

Daily Routine for Testosterone

The first thing I want you to do is think about your daily routine, even if it's minimal right now, since you don’t have much energy, right? Let's come up with some simple, yet effective strategies you can start implementing into a daily routine that will help you.

So, even if you are tired, I want you to incorporate a small amount of exercise into your routine. This could be something very simple, such as walking for 5-10 minutes, stretching, or doing some form of bodyweight exercise. It doesn't have to be doing a full body workout or going to the gym. Even a small amount of exercise has been shown to be a great treatment for depression ¹,

and you can slowly work up to some higher intensity workouts as you begin to feel better, if you want to, and all of this will translate to higher testosterone and dopamine ² ³.

Now, I know it can be tempting to take an antidepressant medication, but it's important to recognize that most of them, especially most SSRIs, reduce testosterone levels. So definitely give the exercise a shot. If you are taking an SSRI and it seems like it's not working for you, you may want to start tapering off it slowly.

Nutrition For Testosterone

Now, let's talk about diet. I don’t know what your current diet is, and I'm not suggesting that you need to change your eating habits 180 degrees right away, but if you are eating a lot of processed food, fast food, or high-sugar foods, let's try to make some substitutions. Most processed foods are laced with endocrine disruptors and contain highly inflammatory and refined seed oils that are rich in polyunsaturated fats, which are not as great for testosterone as a diet rich in saturated and monounsaturated fats . Try to go for protein and saturated/monunsaturated fat-rich whole foods, such as pasture-raised eggs, grass-fed red meat, Extra Virgin olive oil (which can also improve testosterone), fermented dairy like kefir, which is also high in lactobacillus reuteri. This strain improves critical mineral bioavailability and vit d status , all of which are important for maintaining healthy testosterone levels. Go for antioxidant rich organic fruits such as blueberries and kiwis and consider topping them with raw honey if you are craving something sweet, which also has the potential to increase testosterone levels .

Also, make sure your sleep is of high quality. If you are lying in bed all day, you may not be able to sleep well at night. Try to separate your daytime environment from your sleeping environment. Incorporating some practices like minimizing electronic device use an hour before bed, avoiding blue light before bed, maintaining a cool room, etc., are all things that can help. Also, make sure you are getting at least 6 hours of sleep each night since less can lead to a reduction in testosterone levels .

And while a lot of supplements are like dark roads, especially commonly recommended ones, as I explain in my free report, there are some safe and effective ones listed there that you should definitely check out.

Conclusion

Based on your message, it sounds like you may just be getting started, so my advice is to start small, implement some of these practices into your daily routine, and just keep doing them each day. We want to turn these into positive habits that will propel you forward so that as you start to feel some benefits, you can pick up the pace. At that point, you may consider getting our testosterone and dopamine maximization courses to take things to the next level.
